Mars Et Historia (bestelnr DVD 46496 , bestelnr (4) CD 46579)
Dutch association for military history. The association for is a platform for sharing and exchanging from different points of view about military history, in particular that in relation to The Netherlands and the (former) parts of the kingdom overseas. It is there for all those who study or collect things from a certain period (Napoleon, WOI, WOII), subject (Marines, KNIL) of the military history (from emblems, uniforms to military vehicles). To actually achieve all these things, a three monthly magazine is released and other things are organized (among other things, excursions, film, lectures). On this DVD or CD's you will find all other releases of the three monthly magazine from the beginning of the association in 1966 until 2003.

De oudste kronieken en beschrijvingen van Rotterdam en Schieland (bestelnr 46497)
Written by Johan Willem Unger and Willem Bezemer. They were linked to the local archive of Rotterdam. By order of the municipal authorities, they compiled this work, which appeared in the series 'Sources for the history of Rotterdam'.

Groot schilderboek (bestelnr 46481)
'Where in the painter art in all her facets ther was educated thoroughly.'. By Gerard de Lairessr (1641-1711), he was a painter of historical settings and plate cutter. He was born in Luik, but worked in The Netherlands for the most part of his life: in Den Bosch, Utrecht, The Hague and Amsterdam. The big painter book, of which the first print appeared 1707, is his foremost work. In this second print a biography of De Lairesse is present. De Lairessestraat in Amsterdam was named after him.

Adresboek voor Dordrecht (bestelnr 46474)
This adress book provides an overview of the adresses in Dordrecht for the year 1883. The book containes a list of names for the suburbs and an alfabetical register for the adresses.




Vaderlandsch Woordenboek (bestelnr 46457)
By Jacobus Kok (1780-'95). The author treats in this 36 part encompassing work (21 books) all names of relevant persons, places and events from the Dutch history. There were 19 parts of this standard works made by him, incedentaly, the other parts were additions of Jan Fokke. Illustrated using maps, pictures and portraits. For those who order often, it is maybe advisable to become a member of our vriendenclub.
