Saturday
February 19 we were present at the Vereniging Oud Apeldoorn Market.
Together
with 4 overheated computers, 4 pair of tired feet and four sore throats we
closed the day.
It
was a very satisfying feeling to have been able to help so many visitors with
their searches.
With
our help and the Book2CD CD’s, people searched for their ancestors,
streets
and their inhabitants and monuments.
We also got feedback on the use of last years CD’s purchased with us.
We
are very thankful to the Society for offering us this opportunity.
Since March 1 was the date I have been living in
Apeldoorn
for 25 years, I can call myself an “Apeldoornse”.
This
week I signed myself up as a member of the Oud Apeldoorn Society.
I
hereby summon all inhabitants of
Apeldoorn
to do the same for only E 14,00 a year.
You will support the advocates for the preservation of the distinguishing
character of the city of
Apeldoorn
.
The
evolvement of the Channel borders are keeping me occupied
(also
because our offices are overlooking the waters of the Apeldoorn Channel).
Here
also this Society fights to preserve the good of former days.
You
can visit their website at www.oudapeldoorn.nl
to get more information.

In
practice this will mean we will be publishing several titles with an ISBN
number.
Which
will mean sales to and from official book sellers will be completed more easily.
Some times people ask us which is exactly on a certain CD-rom or what the
quality of one is.
In
future we have plans to add a few pages of each book to our website so anyone
can
see for themselves if a particular book is up to expectations.
Before
we have 400 titles on our website, it will take us some time…
In
any case, if there’s a certain edition of which you are very curious,
we
can give you a small example beforehand.
If
you send us your inquiry we will take care of sending you a sample by email.
We
hope you can find anything you like in our collection.
As
always your suggestions for new publications and questions are very much
welcome.
