Book2CD borrows or buys more or less unique books, documents or cards. We scan these for free and make the digital copies available to the agency or private person of whom the original has been borrowed. After the original has been scanned we add a copy, which is a copy cdrom, to our catalogue for people to buy. With the turnover among other things more material can be scanned.

You can contribute in several ways to book2CD, such as:

We are interested in your suggestions about scanning specific books.

We gladly invite libraries, files, museums, etc. that would be willing to lend us books.

Everyone who contributes gets anyhow the digital edition for personal use.

What are the advantages?
Obtaining old books and documents often is hard due to their small amount and vulnerability. With an initiative such as Book2CD this information is opened up to the public.
The persons and organisations which make books available are rewarded for their participation to the project.
